SAFETY PROTOCOL FOR CARRYING OUT ACTIVITIES AIMED AT PREVENTING COVID-19 CONTAGION

Due to the COVID-19 epidemic, the Ministry of Health has determined that each activity must present a protocol of action that customers must comply with when accessing the facilities for carrying out the activities.

 This protocol is specific to each company.

 In the event of any doubt of action as to the procedures not reflected in this document, the actions and behaviors will always be aimed at ensuring maximum protection for both employees and customers.

 Before proceeding with the reading of this document, and consequently, with the booking process, you must be able to answer "NO" to each of the following questions. If you answer "YES" to any of them or if you have any questions, please contact Centro de buceo CALA PADA staff.

  • • Do you have symptoms (especially fever, cough, shortness of breath) compatible with COVID-19?
  • • Have you had symptoms (especially fever, cough, shortness of breath) compatible with COVID-19 in the last 14 days?
  • • Have you had close contact of anyone positive to SARS-COV-2 in the last 14 days?
  • • Have you had any COVID-19 diagnostic tests in the last 14 days?

 Continuing the booking process and accepting this protocol implies that you declare and confirm that you have not answered "Yes" to any of the 4 questions above.

As a customer, YOU MUST meet the following points:

BEFORE ACCESSING THE FACILITIES

  • • You must have completed, correctly, the digital document Customer Form according to the activity to which you are going to participate. In this form, you must accept, among other conditions, the Declaration of Conformity with the SAFETY PROTOCOL FOR THE PERFORMANCE OF ACTIVITIES INTENDED TO AVOID THE CONTAGION BY COVID-19 and the Reservation and Cancellation Policy indicating that you are compliant, understand and accept what is described in these documents.
  • • You should not go to the dive center if you have symptoms of COVID-19 disease (see Booking and Cancellation Policy – section COVID 19).
  • • Customers who do not comply with the required hygienic-health prevention standards will not be able to carry out the contracted activity (see Reservation and Cancellation Policy – section COVID 19).
  • • When the use of facilities outside the company is required, for example, pool Magic Life, we will request in advance of the activity, the protocols to prevent the contagion of SARS-COV-2 specific to said installation. The acceptance of the SAFETY PROTOCOL FOR THE PERFORMANCE OF ACTIVITIES INTENDED TO AVOID THE CONTAGION BY COVID-19 of Centro de buceo CALA PADA implies in the acceptance of the protocol regarding the installation outside the company to which it is to be accessed.

BY ACCESSING THE FACILITIES TO PERFORM THE ACTIVITIES

  • You must enter, obligatorily, with a protective facial mask. If not, in order to carry out the activity, you must purchase one. Otherwise you will be denied participation in the activity. (See Booking and Cancellation Policy – section COVID 19). You will also have to access with the swimsuit on

. You will have to wait outside the premises for someone from the Centro de buceo CALA PADA  staff to tell you where to place yourself, to check the fulfilment of the administrative procedures and give you the specific instructions for the activity you have contracted.

  • • You must respect the interpersonal distance of 2 meters.
  • • You will take your temperature when you arrive at Centro de buceo CALA PADA

. In the case of submitting a febrile table, you will be denied participation in the activity (See Booking and Cancellation Policy – section COVID 19) and the corresponding protocol will be activated.

  • • Upon arrival at the center you must ensure adequate Hand Hygiene. Wash your hands thoroughly with soap and water for at least 40 seconds (40-60 seconds), drying your hands with paper. For this purpose, a hand-washing area has been set up outside the centre, next to the washing pools

o You will avoid touching your face during the activity, especially if you have not proceeded with the correct hand washing.

o It is recommended that you repeat this procedure if you have had contact with diving equipment that you do not own.

o You will be informed of the availability of hydroalcoholic solution to help keep your hands sanitized. You must request it from the Centro de buceo CALA PADA  staff.

  • • You should keep the Respiratory Etiquette: Cover your nose and mouth when coughing or sneezing with disposable handkerchiefs or by putting your arm (elbow fold). Do not keep the handkerchiefs on top and dispose of them in a dumpster.
  • • You should avoid social contact (greetings with kisses on cheeks, handshakes, etc.).
  • • You will be informed of the availability of hydroalcoholic solution to help keep your hands sanitized. You must request it from the Centro de buceo CALA PADA staff

 WHILE YOU'RE IN THE INSTATIONS OR DOING THE ACTIVITY

General:

  • • You must always keep the protective face mask on. Abuse of non-compliance with this rule may cause you to be denied participation in the activity. (See Booking and Cancellation Policy – section COVID 19).
  • • You'll need to wait for instructions from staff for the steps you need to take, regarding your activity.
  • • You must respect the indications of the information posters and marks of the measures.
  • • We remind you that it is important to maintain proper Hand Hygiene and Respiratory Label.
  • • You should avoid social contact (greetings with kisses on cheeks, handshakes, etc.) keeping at least a distance of 2 meters.
  • • You will not be able to share toiletries, hygiene, food, drinks or diving equipment.
  • • You must respect the Control of the Capacity in the common areas in order to meet two meters away between all the people of the enclosure, whether these, customers or employees. If the distance cannot be met, they will be used individually and always using protective masks.
  • • You must respect the indications as to possible shifts necessary for carrying out the activities to avoid crowds, complying with the distance and capacity determinations.
  • • Customers will not be allowed to take any rental dive equipment on their own. If you need it, you must request it from the Centro de buceo CALA PADA staff.
  • • You understand and agree that rental equipment, if used, has been sanitized and disinfected, following the procedures and products recommended by international agencies and competent administration. If you wish, you can request the Cleaning and Disinfection Protocol of Centro de buceo CALA PADA Rental Equipment that you will find it at the end of this document.
  • • In the case of using rental equipment, you will need to make sure that you do not exchange it with another customer. To do this, pay special attention to the identification numbering of each equipment. If it is not possible, you must notify them for disinfection. As a point of risk of average contagion, it will be recorded on a sheet, the number, date and name of the person who used it in case there is a need to contact them later.
  • • You'll need to restrict your mobility to areas assigned by staff.
  • • Access to the toilet will be restricted to cases of extreme need. You must request the key from Centro de buceo CALA PADA staff. Once used the TOILET will proceed immediately to disinfect it. As a point of risk of average contagion, it will be recorded on a sheet, the date and name of the person who used it in case there is a need to contact them later.
  • • The use of dive centre tables for the preparation and assembly of underwater photography equipment will not be permitted. Divers using these equipment’s must bring them assembled from home.
  • • To pay we recommend using a credit card or mobile. In case of payment in cash, if change is to be returned, we recommend that you then disinfect your hands.
  • • During the period of application of the SAFETY PROTOCOL FOR THE PERFORMANCE OF ACTIVITIES INTENDED TO AVOID COVID-19 CONTAGION, the storage of personal diving equipment in Centro de buceo CALA PADA facilities will be prohibited.

Storage and preparation of the equipment areas:

  • • You must respect the same general recommendations regarding protection, movement, distance and uses, as defined in the general section.
  • • You will be assigned a "space/zone" where you can equip yourself and leave your belongings. This area will be the same on the return of the activity.
  • • Personal equipment and belongings must be stored in their own bags or, if you do not have them, you will be assigned a box that will be duly disinfected. You are advised to bring what is just and necessary for the contracted activity.
  • • Once you are ready, you must inform the Centro de buceo CALA PADA staff to be authorized to go to the boat.

Boat:

  • • You must respect the same general recommendations regarding protection, movement, distance and uses, as defined in the general section.
  • • Water and food will NOT be available on the boat. If you wish, you will have to bring, at your own risk, your own source of water and food. It is not recommended to share these products. You will also have the possibility to purchase drinks in Centro de buceo CALA PADA
  • • When you arrive at the boat, you must wait for the authorization to access its interior and you must be in the place /area that is indicated without moving from it until it is authorized.
  • • The assembly and disassembly of the equipment, whether these personal or rental, will be the responsibility of its users. In the event that the intervention of the Centro de buceo CALA PADA staff is necessary, for example, because of a problem with the assembly of the equipment, the customer will remain in their assigned place and call the Centro de buceo CALA PADA staff who will move to assist you. Appropriate security measures already set out shall be kept
  • • Customers are not allowed to take rental diving equipment such as masks/snorkels and lead on their own. This function rests with the staff of Centro de buceo CALA PADA. If you need them, you must tell the Centro de buceo CALA PADA staff who will take care of giving it to you with the appropriate security measures.
  • • You only may embark what is necessary to carry out the activity and for your safety, in order to avoid more elements with possible contamination on board.
  • • Once the dive is complete, you will need to make sure that your equipment remains, solely and exclusively, within your assigned area, regardless of whether it is for rent or your property. In the case of rental equipment, it must remain on the boat for further disinfection by Centro de buceo CALA PADA staff.

Travel in the company’s vehicles:

  • • You must respect the same general recommendations regarding protection, movement, distance and uses, as defined in the general section of this section.
  • • In case of need to travel by car to other facilities or dive sites, customers will be encouraged to use their own vehicles. If this is not possible, the recommendations established by the competent body in force at the time shall apply.

Return of the dive to the storage and equipment management area:

  • • You must respect the same general recommendations regarding protection, movement, distance and uses, as defined in the general section of this section.
  • • For customers with their own equipment, unfortunately, the use of the facilities for cleaning will not be allowed.
  • • The change of clothes, if necessary and desired privacy, must be communicated to the Centro de buceo CALA PADA staff to organize the flow of customers in the dressing room.
  • • For the 2stamp” the dives in the logbook, it is recommended to wait for less critical conditions. If this is not possible, Centro de buceo CALA PADA staff will stamp the dives in the outdoor area of the dive center (terrace).
  • • The use of showers shall be prohibited during the period of application of the SAFETY PROTOCOL FOR THE PERFORMANCE OF ACTIVITIES INTENDED TO AVOID COVID-19 CONTAGION.

WHEN YOU LEAVE THE INSTALLS OR AT THE END OF THE ACTIVITY

  • • If within 2 weeks, you identify symptoms of COVID-19 disease, you should notify Centro de buceo CALA PADA and act according to the protocols indicated by the competent authorities

RENTAL EQUIPMENT CLEANING PROTOCOL  

The cleaning procedures for diving equipment for rent for use by Centro de buceo CALA PADA customers will be as follows:

  • • The Centro de buceo CALA PADA staff will be the only one authorized for the delivery and reception of the rental equipment.
  • • The Centro de buceo CALA PADA staff will deliver the properly disinfected rental equipment to the customer who hires the diving equipment rental service.
  • • The rental equipment delivered to each customer will be correctly identified (numerical code) to avoid confusion and accidental exchanges with the equipment of other customers and that may pose a risk of contagion.
  • • The staff of Centro de buceo CALA PADA will be the order to carry out the cleaning and disinfection of the diving equipment.
  • • All material rented by Centro de buceo CALA PADA customers will go through a thorough cleaning process once they have been returned. Emphasis will be given to the following equipment or part of it:

o Regulator - first stage, second stage and regulator nozzle.

o Jacket - oral inflator, trachea and inner bladder.

 o Mask/Snorkel - inside the mask and snorkel mouth peace

o Diving suit and boots - Inside and outside

  • • Cleaning and disinfection procedure

 o Only products authorized by the Ministry of Health will be used for this task.

o These products may vary depending on the circumstances to adapt to the new recommendations made by the competent authorities against COVID-19.

 o The proportions recommended and indicated by the manufacturers will be respected and ensuring that the solution reaches all corners and parts of the equipment’s (total immersion) by rinsing it with fresh water after the indicated exposure time.

  • • External Rental’s Tanks

o The bottles that are rented will be delivered in the outdoor area of Centro de buceo CALA PADA  avoiding the entry of customers inside the facilities.

 o Las tap of the diving tanks will be disinfected in front of the customer with an authorized alcoholic solution, following the recommendations of the competent authorities.

o These cleaning and safety protocols against COVID-19 infections are in force as long as determined by health authorities.
